Treatments For Facial Warts
However, we are not the sole masters of our face and sometimes the most charming face tends to lose its charm when facial warts suddenly appear to tarnish the beauty. The worst part of the whole story is that the facial warts affect the young at a time when they are mostly judged by their face value. |To begin with, facial warts may form due to a viral infection (human papilloma virus or HPV) and it can also happen through one of nature’s own freaks. Also, these warts disappear as frequently as they appear, to the consternation of the host. Facial warts usually begin as small raised bumps on the soft facial skin.
These bumps may range in color from pink to red or often yellowish, though at times, a wart may also appear as a dark dot on the face. Facial warts are sometimes mistaken as pimples as well. Since they are not associated with intense pain or other complications, people usually are less bothered by warts, except of course from the cosmetic point of view. Facial warts are removed in a number of ways. Such as cryotherapy, electrosurgery, keratolytics, bleomycin, hypnosis, X-ray therapy, laser therapy, interferon, retinoids and antiviral agent.
Immunotherapy has several advantages like the option of bringing many lesions at a time under treatment as also controlling the frequency of relapsing warts. It starts by sensitizing, which is followed by weekly maintenance course of 0.001% to 1% DPCP in acetone on the facial warts till a mild form of contact dermatitis is achieved. As an immediate result, all of the facial warts would become inflamed and resolved. Today there are good remedies for facial warts and many of them are natural solutions that are safe, effective, painless and gives quick results.
Facial warts can make any beautiful person feel very unattractive at that time. It is important that you find some form of treatment to reduce the signs of your warts or to remove them completely, which is what most people would hope for anyway. Check out some books at your library or continue doing more research on the internet, to ensure that you know more about warts so that you will know how to treat them if they ever appear on your body.
Warts of all types can be very irritating, not necessarily because of feeling them on your skin but just because of the looks of them. Most people associate warts with some sort of yucky disease or something like that and that is simply not always the case at all. Anyone can get warts and anyone can treat them as well. Do not continue letting yours bother you or make you feel bad about yourself, do something about your warts today, so you too can feel better when you look into the mirror.

Nanotechnology And Skin Care
Nanotechnology is elevating the development of skin care products and cosmetics to another level, making them high-tech so as to deliver increased benefits to users. In addition to improving the efficacy of cosmetics and skin care products, nanotechnology is making it possible for other ingredients to be used in the manufacturing of beauty products.
Nanotechnology in the beauty industry involves making products with nanoparticles that can go deeper below the skin’s surface to give better results. Sunscreens and some anti-aging products are the main cosmetic products on the market currently being made using nanotechnology.
Some large cosmetic players are leading the charge in the field of nanotechnology in the beauty industry. Chief among these companies are L’Oreal who has employed the technology in products such as Revitalift anti-wrinkle cream. According to L’Oreal Revitalift’s results are immediate because the product contains “nanosiomes of Pro-Retinol A”. Estee Lauder also has a number of nanocosmetics on the market, as does Proctor & Gamble, Shiseido and Duprey Cosmetics.
However, because of the relative newness of the technology in terms of cosmetics manufacturing there is still concern as to how safe nanotech cosmetics are and their long-term effect. Agencies such as the Federal Drug Administration (US) and The Royal Society (UK) have issued statements calling for continued testing and transparency governing research on the use of nanotechnology in cosmetics. Some nanoparticles have received FDA approval, such as zinc oxide and titanium dioxide which have been included in sunscreen; in 1996 the FDA is reported to have concluded that “… smaller, micronized particles of titanium dioxide are not new substances and that there is no evidence demonstrating that these micronized particles are unsafe.”

Vegan Beauty Products
There is now a small but growing market for cosmetic products that are not only free of any animal byproduct but are also not tested on animals. These are the vegan beauty products. These products are free of petroleum ingredients, beeswax often used in lip balms and mascaras, milk (used in soaps), collagen, carmine (a colorant derived from beetle shells) and animal hair that are used in brushes. Advocates of this trend say that this is a good thing since the skin absorbs 60 per cent of what is put on it. Women are also very attracted to beauty products which have natural ingredients.
How to Look out for Vegan Beauty Products
a. The word organic applies to ingredients grown without petroleum- or sewer-sludge-based fertilizers and most conventional pesticides.
b. Usually, a "Made with organic" label on a product means that 70 per cent to 94.9 per cent of the ingredients in it are organic.
c. Vegan products use herbal extracts for cleansing and essential oils for fragrance.
d. Substitutes for animal ingredients include iron oxides for pigments, coconut and other non-animal-derived oils for cleansing and moisturizing.
e. Sea algae and marigold extracts are used in anti-aging products.
f. Candelilla is used instead of beeswax in mascaras.
g. Mica, zinc oxides and iron oxides are used instead of carmine or beetle shells for the colors of many products.
h. Cruelty-free honey and beeswax are sometimes used.
i. These vegan items are a better alternative to products that contain chemicals and animal derivatives.
j. Some cosmetic companies who are into vegan beauty products are Origins, Urban Decay, Ecco Bella, Beauty Without Cruelty, Zuzu Luxe, David Babaii, Aveda, Avalon Natural Products, Physicians Formula, stellamccartneycare.com.
k. To check your beauty products chemical composition and beauty ratings, use Cosmeticdatabase.

How Effective Are the Scar Removal Creams?
The scar removal creams often promise wonders. Actually no matter what they are trying to promise, the scar removal creams aren’t exactly as wondrous as their producers claim.

According to a research, each two of five teens have been using acne removal cream that is not so effective. This is so, because of the expectation of the people.
There are no magical creams that will make the scar disappear, especially if the scar is deep into your skin.
The truth is these creams work, if they are combined with special medical treatment or procedure.
Most of them contain bleaching ingredients that simply bleach the dark brown spots or scars.
Some creams contain more than 2% hydroquinone, which isn’t recommendable, especially if you are a teenager.
A cream that contains more than 2% hydroquinone can cause severe changes in skin color.
Therefore, don’t use any scar removal creams without consulting with your dermatologist.
The most adequate treatment for scar removal is chemical peeling. Your dermatologist will tell you whether it is appropriate for you. It usually takes between 4 and 6 hours to obtain a peeling effect, but make sure you are doing it in a professional way.
New Laser to Detect Skin Cancer Early
If there is one body organ that has to bear the brunt of environmental pollutants and toxins and damage from sun exposure, it would have to be the skin. It is small wonder then that the malaise of skin cancers is a rising one in the world. A small new laser device to detect skin cancer early however, could hold out home for many.
This new laser will be able to detect and diagnose lesions relating to melanoma much earlier than conventional screening procedures and more easily as well.
The laser can tell apart cancerous tissue and healthy skin, without having to go under the excision and biopsy that is currently required to obtain a diagnosis.
Current screening for skin cancer can mean unnecessary surgical procedures, which may not even be wholly conclusive in the end.
Dr. Vijay Trisal, assistant professor of surgical oncology at the City of Hope Cancer Center in Duarte, California has lauded the recent development saying that biopsies are not always able to offer clear results.
Further when a hundred biopsies are performed, one case of malignancy may be detected, which suggests that the other 99 were needlessly performed. So the new laser may not only result in early detection but may also reduce numbers of needless biopsies.
Hair Removal Procedures Best in Winter
Skin care experts are of the view that if any hair removal procedures are to be performed they are best done in winter. Laser hair removal is recommended in winter because strong sun block is required to be used on the area of skin from which hair is to be removed.
So if you want to be beach ready and smooth skinned in time for summer, winter is a good time to actually undergo the hair removal procedures.
It is important to protect the skin from sun exposure either by use of sun blocks or by covering with protective clothing.
This can be inconvenient to do if the laser hair removal treatment was required to be performed on the facial skin area and it is this facial area hair removal that could be most significant to a lot of women – alterations in self confidence are noted in many who undergo the treatment for facial hair removal.
While one’s skin color is largely irrelevant to the success or failure of the procedure, there are certain hair colors that are less responsive to laser hair removal techniques – blond, gray, or red hair, may not meet with as much success.

Make Natural Skin Care Products at Home
Do you want to make natural skin care products at home? Are you tired of using chemical based products? Are you allergic to some skin care products found in the market today? Are you a health nut planning to make good money from making natural products? If you answer yes to any of these questions, then we have the answers to your concerns.
With everybody switching to green living, you shouldn’t miss the chance as well. Natural is the in thing today. You can make natural skin care products like soaps, lotions, and oils and it doesn’t need an expert to do it.
You can find and borrow ideas from health magazines, newspapers, and the internet.
There are even educational institutions and companies that offer crash courses or seminars in this field. Once you get the hang of it, you can make natural skin care products for you and your family or sell them to others.
Natural products are those that do not contain chemicals. They’re all made from natural plant extracts and animal products like honey. Here are some samples of these products which are 100% natural:
Olive oil skin cleanser: Mix 1 tbsp olive oil with 1 tbsp honey and apply on your face and neck. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a towel.
Honey 2-in-1 cleanser and lotion: Combine 1 tbsp honey and 2 tbsp warm milk for your cleanser. Increase the amount of both appropriately if you want to make lotion. Massage the mixture gently on your face, neck, arms, and legs. Rinse off after 5 minutes.
Almond milk moisturizer: Whip together 2 tbsp almond meal with 10 fl. oz. water. Strain the concoction through cheesecloth to make it silkier and smoother. Apply gently on the face and wipe off with a soft cloth or tissue paper.
Violet and almond lotion: Blend together 4 tbsp almond meal and 5 fl. oz water for 2-3 minutes. Prepare a non-metal pan and pour the mixture into it. Add 25 flowers of violet and heat for around 5 minutes. Allow it to cool and then strain and pour in a bottle. Use daily.
You can make natural skin care products like these in your own kitchen. The ingredients can be taken from your garden and cupboard. Moreover, they’re easy and can be done in a few minutes.
Once you make natural skin care products and test them yourselves, you can market your products. If you’re currently unemployed, this kind of business can help you pay for your monthly bills and necessities. If you’re employed, you can still make natural skin care products and sell them in the office.
People go crazy over natural products, especially those that can pamper their skin. They’re already aware of the effectiveness and practicality of these natural skin essentials though they don’t have the time or skill to make natural skin care products themselves. Make these people your target customers and soon, you’ll be establishing a name for yourself.
